Mary Ann LEWIS; 2/7/1811 Land Records, Jefferson County, MS: Whereas, Benajah Warren of Jefferson County, Stat of Mississippi, has deposited in the General Land Office of the United States a certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Washington, whereby it appears that full paymnet has been made by the said Benajah Warren, according to the provisions of the act of Congress of the 24th April, 1820, entitled "An act making further provision for the sale of the Public Lands" for: the south half of Section 13, in Township 8 of Range 3 east, in the district of lands subject to sale at Washington, Mississippi, contaiing 325 acres and 39/100 of an acre, according to the official plat of the survey of the said lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which said tract has been purchased by the said Benajah Warren.
