| William Baldridge was born in Tyrone, Ulster Province, Ireland, in 1689. He and wife, Janette Holmes, came to America in 1726 on the "Queen Margaret," with all of their family except their oldest son (and my 4-g-grandfather), John. John and Rebecca Clark Baldridge came to American in 1737 and settled in Martic Twp., Lancaster County, PA. Note that William signed his will in two places and, in both, spelled his name "Baldrige." |
